Man to face court after carrying knife at busy Adelaide shopping centre
A 21-year-old man has been found with a knife whilst in a shopping centre in Adelaide's north.
South Australia Police were conducting a regular patrol of the Parabanks Shopping Centre in Salisbury last night, when they stopped the man.
The man from Elizabeth Vale was searched with a metal detector, which found a knife in his backpack.

The knife was seized and the man was removed from the shopping centre. Supplied
It had a blue handle and a blue cover, with multicoloured bits of string wrapped around it.
It is not alleged the man was planning to use the knife in a dangerous manner.
The knife was taken by police and the man was removed from the shopping centre.
He was subsequently reported for carrying an offensive weapon.
The man will be summoned to appear at court in the new year.
