Police investigate a second knife-wielding armed robbery in Adelaide's south

An investigation is underway after an armed robbery at a supermarket in Adelaide’s south last night.

Police were called to the supermarket in Seaford at 7.20pm, after reports a man armed with a knife had threatened staff.

He left the store with cash and was last seen heading west along Seaford Road.

In an effort to identify him, police have released CCTV images of the man.

He is described as Caucasian, in his 20s and about 180cm tall. He was wearing a black hooded jumper with a motif on the front and black track pants with white stripes.

The initial investigation by police suggests this incident is not linked to an earlier armed robbery in the same area.

It was reported that a man had made off with cash from a chemist at Morphett Vale, after threatening staff at knifepoint the same day.
