RSPCA's plea to public after newborn puppies dumped by road in Perth
The RSPCA is urging for information after a litter of nine newborn puppies was "callously" dumped in Perth
The two-day-old litter was found inside a patch of long, wet grass on the corner of Lord Street and Guildford Road in Bassendean at 6pm on Tuesday.
Eight were rescued at the time, while one was sadly found dead.

A further four puppies died after they were placed in foster care "due to their young age and exposure to the elements", RSPCA WA said in a Facebook post.
The remaining four, believed to be American Staffy crosses, are doing well.
The litter's mother has not been found, prompting urgent calls from the RSPCA for help.

"We currently hold concern for mum, who would have suffered physically and emotionally when the puppies were taken away from her so suddenly."
The animal rescue organisation said there were no CCTV security cameras around the area the litter was dumped.
