Young man dies following a crash involving a car and pedestrian in Queensland

A 24-year-old man has died following a crash involving a car and pedestrian on the Sunshine Coast.
Queensland Police investigations suggest a man was lying on Parkville Street in Sippy Downs when he was struck by a car at 11.30pm yesterday.
The man was seriously injured and died at the scene a short time later.

The driver, a 19-year-old Sippy Downs man, was not physically injured during the incident.
Police are appealing for anyone that has any information about the incident to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
