Witnesses to Qld hit-and-run sought

A truck driver who clipped a car causing a crash that injured the driver is being sought by police after allegedly speeding from the scene.

The incident happened on the Bruce Highway near Caboolture at about 5.25pm (AEST) on Sunday.

It's alleged the driver of a semi-trailer merged into the lane the car was in and clipped it, causing it to crash into a barrier near the Caboolture on-ramp.

The car driver suffered minor injuries.

The truck failed to stop and police are appealing to anyone driving in the area who may have seen the incident to contact them.
