Three dead after crash west of Toowoomba

Two men and a woman have died after their car collided with a cattle truck on the Gore Highway at Brookstead, west of Toowoomba.

A man aged 46, and a man and woman aged in their 80s, all from NSW, died at the scene when their southbound 4WD collided head-on with a truck around 11.25am this morning.

The male driver of the truck was not injured.

Forensic crash investigations are continuing.
