Fears for vulnerable koala joeys stolen in Brisbane

Police are urging for public assistance after three koala joeys were stolen from a carer’s house in Brisbane’s south-east.

The 14-month-olds were taken from a home at Ormiston between 9pm on Thursday and 6am on Friday.

The trio, which were being looked after by a wildlife carer, require supplemental feeding and medication.

They may not be able to survive if they are released into the wild.

Anyone who took or has any information about the joeys is being urged to call the RSPCA or hand them into their nearest police station.
