Suspended Qld cop to face court
AAP
A Queensland police officer accused of using excessive force when he pulled over a driver has been suspended from duty.
The 45-year-old senior constable has also been served with a notice to appear in court on charges of common assault and deprivation of liberty.
He had been the subject of a disciplinary investigation into allegations he used excessive force during a traffic intercept and failed to treat a member of the public with dignity and respect.
