Sunken Qld trawler could be recovered

The wreck of a trawler believed to contain the bodies of two missing Queensland fishermen may be raised from the ocean floor.

Police pinpointed the location of the vessel on Tuesday, about 50 metres underwater off the east coast of Fraser Island, and say they will take advice from the coroner this week about whether a recovery should be attempted.

Bundaberg pair David Chivers, 36, and Matt Roberts, 60, went missing early on April 4, and an air and sea search failed to find any trace of them.
