Second murder charge over Toowoomba death

A second man has been charged with the murder of a Toowoomba teenager almost three years ago.

The 19-year-old was charged over the death of Jake Lasker on Wednesday.

He is expected to front the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Thursday.

Mr Lasker, 19, was found dead with cuts to his neck and torso in his family home in Rockville in November 2012.

In the months before his death, the teenager had been given the all-clear after an ongoing battle with eye cancer.

The second charge comes after Max Peter Smith pleaded guilty to the teenager's murder and was sentenced to life in prison last year.
