Rare white deer sighted in Brisbane

A Brisbane woman has managed to capture footage of a rare white deer strolling through a leafy outer suburb.

Shiona Allinson saw the deer in Pinjarra Hills, about 15 kilometres west of the city centre, in early September.

But, the beautiful sight does come with a downside - deers carry paralysis ticks which are deadly to pets.
