Qld officer allegedly drove cop car drunk

A Queensland police officer has been stood down and charged after allegedly driving a police vehicle while drunk.
The 24-year-old constable from the Northern Region got behind the wheel on Saturday while over the general alcohol limit but below the middle alcohol limit, police allege.
He will face Cairns Magistrates Court on May 19.
