Qld man to face court over violent attack

A Queensland man is set to appear in court on Monday over a string of domestic violence offences following an alleged violent attack in Chinchilla.
Police allege a 29-year-old woman was choked, kicked and punched by a 29-year-old man on Thursday night.
The man was arrested on Friday and charged with four counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, two counts of strangulation and one count each of deprivation of liberty, threatening violence and common assault.

He has been remanded in custody to appear in the Dalby Magistrates Court on Monday.
The woman received treatment to several non-life threatening injuries.
