Qld 'fake nurse' faces 100 new charges

A man who allegedly pretended to be a nurse at a remote indigenous community has had more than 100 new charges laid against him.

The 30-year-old Northern Territory man is accused of using forged documents to gain employment at the Aurukun Primary Health Centre on Cape York and posing as a nurse for six weeks earlier this year.

He was charged with one count of fraud in April, but had an extra 50 counts of unlawful wounding, 45 counts of assault and 19 counts of unlawfully supplying dangerous drugs issued on Wednesday.
