Qld duo charged over bikie certificates

Two Queensland men have been charged with misconduct offences after allegedly issuing competency certificates to motorcycle riders, including suspected outlaw bikies, without requiring them to undergo the proper training.

Police say the pair were accredited Q-Ride trainers linked to a motorcycle training business in Beenleigh, south of Brisbane, when they falsely signed, issued and received cash for competency declaration documents in 2016.

Ten of the applicant riders had links to outlaw motorcycle gangs including the Hells Angels, Nomads, Bandidos and Comancheros.
