Man seriously injured after falling 20m down cliff in front of wife
A Perth father has been left seriously injured after plunging 20 metres down a cliff while holidaying in Queensland.
A delicate rescue operation unfolded at Paradise Caves in the Noosa National Park yesterday after the 47-year-old fell in front of his wife and family.
Emergency services and a rescue helicopter rushed to the scene, while surf lifesavers were called in to join the large rescue mission.

The father was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with injuries to his head, shoulder and chest.
"The incident was witnessed by the patient's wife, there was a period of loss of consciousness initially but he quickly regained consciousness," Queensland Ambulance Service senior operations supervisor James Mayfield said.
The man was seriously hurt and was taken to hospital suffering chest, head and shoulder injuries. 9News
"He was able to move himself to a spot and set himself up until help arrived."
Rescuers battled high tide and tough surf conditions to reach the man, who was treated for a serious head injury.
