Man chased down, stabbed on Gold Coast

Two men who chased down and stabbed another man on the Gold Coast are on the run.

Police say the 24-year-old victim was with a companion when he was attacked in Surfers Paradise about 8pm on Monday. He's since had surgery on a knife wound to his back.

"The male victim has been chased by two offenders who remain outstanding ... those two persons took a knife to this victim and stabbed him," Inspector Karen Shaw has told the ABC.
