Man charged over Toowoomba shooting

A Queensland man accused of shooting another man in the neck has been charged with 22 offences.

The 27-year-old was arrested on Friday over the alleged shooting of the 41-year-old, who was found at a Toowoomba intersection around midnight on Tuesday, police said.

His alleged victim was left with non-life threatening injuries.

Among the charges the alleged shooter faces are two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and burglary.

He is due to front Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Monday.
