Early morning blaze damages Qld school

Two classrooms at a Queensland school have been extensively damaged after a blaze broke out in the early hours of Sunday.

Police say an alarm went off just prior to 3am at Laidley State High School, west of Brisbane, with crews reportedly taking 30 minutes to bring the fire under control.

Investigations are continuing to determine the cause and whether or not the blaze was the work of arsonists.
