Cars damaged in wild Brisbane party

A teenager has been injured and almost a dozen cars have been damaged during an out-of-control party that saw about 100 youths spill out onto a street on Brisbane's bayside.

Police were called to a house in Lota just after midnight on Saturday when they encountered 100 youths in Alexander Street damaging about 10 cars and smashing bottles in the street.

The party was shut down after it was declared to be "out of control".

A 17-year-old reveller sustained a forehead injury.

Investigations are continuing.
