Brisbane rail crossing top Qld project

A second Brisbane river rail crossing is the Queensland government's top infrastructure priority.

The crossing is one of 12 nationally-significant projects outlined in the state government's submission to Infrastructure Australia (IA) for a new national infrastructure plan.

"We will continue to work with the federal government and IA on nationwide infrastructure reforms," Deputy Premier Jackie Trad told parliament.

Other projects identified include upgrades to the Bruce and Cunningham Highways, the Pacific Motorway and an inland rail corridor.
