Building management finds body while checking on Gold Coast tenant
Police are investigating after a man was found dead inside his Gold Coast apartment.
Building management at the Southport apartment made the discovery this morning when going to check on a tenant who had not been seen since Monday.
Police were called and the apartment was declared a crime scene by 8am.

Police have not said how the man died.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death are ongoing.
"There's a few questions in relation to the scene to be answered," Senior Police Sargent Brett Macgibbon told 9News.
"The death is unexplained at the moment."
Police believe the man was last scene on Monday and are working to confirm the man's last known location before he died.
