Bandit wields axe in Qld servo hold up

A man armed with an axe has terrified a service station worker during a hold-up west of Brisbane.
The bandit stole an undisclosed sum of cash from the service station at Toowoomba about 2am (AEST) on Monday.
It's believed he tried to rob a second service station minutes later, but fled empty-handed when he couldn't open the cash drawer.
