A man who allegedly threw an axe at a woman police officer before being subdued by a stun gun is set to apply for bail in a Queensland court.
Police say the man tried to attack the officer when she and two colleagues went to a house at Toogoolawah, about 120 kilometres northwest of Brisbane, on Monday night.
The officers were forced to use a Taser gun on the man during his arrest.
