Man arrested over alleged stabbing in Melbourne's south-east
A 37-year-old man is fighting for life after being stabbed in his car in Melbourne's south-east.
The man and a woman were sitting in their car on The Esplanade in Narre Warren just after 10.30pm yesterday when they were approached by a man.
Police will allege a 52-year-old man, who is known to the pair, stabbed the 37-year-old inside the vehicle.

The driver was taken to The Alfred Hospital in a critical condition.
Residents in the area said Narre Warren is typically a quiet neighbourhood.
"It's quite concerning but it's happening all over Victoria so it's not something unusual," one neighbour said.

The 52-year-old man was charged with intentionally causing serious injury and faced court this afternoon.
He will re-appear in court in February next year.
