The biggest-ever unexploded World War II bomb found in Poland has detonated as experts tried to defuse it.
The mammoth explosive went off under water as military personnel were working to try and disarm it.

The operation involved the military delicately burning through the bomb's explosive charge in a five-day remote control operation.
The bomb measured more than six metres in length, weighed 5.4 tonnes, and contained 2.4 tonnes of explosives.
It was dropped by the RAF in a 1945 assault on a Nazi warship.
