NRL journalist Paul Kent charged with affray over Rozelle brawl

Rugby league journalist Paul Kent has been charged over an alleged scuffle with another man outside a Rozelle restaurant on the weekend.

Video footage widely circulated on social media appears to show Kent, 54, and another man arguing outside Totti's restaurant in Rozelle at 11.20pm on Saturday.

Security staff and other patrons are seen attempting to intervene.

Paul Kent has been charged after being captured apparently in a heated bust up with another man.  Nine

Kent was arrested at Newtown Police Station today and charged with affray.

He has been granted bail ahead of a scheduled court appearance on May 24.

The other man, a 35-year-old, has also been charged with affray and remains before the courts.
