A woman has been badly injured when she was crushed against a fence while loading cattle onto a truck on a NSW Hunter Valley property.

The 52-year-old suffered pelvic and arm injuries in the incident at Westbrook, northeast of Singleton, on Sunday.

The Westpac rescue helicopter has flown her to John Hunter Hospital where's she's in a stable condition.
