Woman attacked outside Sydney apartments

A woman has been punched in the face and robbed outside an inner-Sydney apartment block.

Police say the 26-year-old was waiting to be buzzed into a Chippendale apartment on Saturday night when a man approached her from behind and tried to grab her bag.

The man, described as a late-teen of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island descent, punched the woman after she resisted his attempts before he snatched a credit card and ran from the scene.
