Woman arrested after man stabbed in Sydney

A man stabbed in the chest, abdomen and leg is in a serious condition in hospital where a woman is under police guard after a domestic incident in southwest Sydney.

The man, 54, was found wounded at a Canley Vale home on Tuesday evening and taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious but stable condition along with a woman, 44, who had arm injuries and was arrested at the home, police say.

A crime scene has been established and will be examined by forensic officers.
