So who is the man likely to be NSW's next deputy premier?
- Born in the southern NSW town of Queanbeyan, son to Italian immigrants.

- Ran his family's windows and door manufacturing business before politics.
- Married with two daughters.
- Departing Deputy Premier Troy Grant is a family friend, and became Mr Barilaro's daughter's godfather earlier this year.
