Two Indonesian teens have nearly drowned after being hit by a large wave at Sydney's iconic Bondi Beach.
The pair of 16-year-old boys were among a group of seven international students swimming between the flags when they were struck by the wipeout wave on Tuesday afternoon.
Lifesavers rescued the boys from the water, with one taken to St Vincent's Hospital in a serious condition and the other to Prince of Wales Children's Hospital.
