Two more charged after Sydney father fatally stabbed in Mount Druitt
Two more men have been charged after a Sydney father was allegedly fatally stabbed while trying to help a group of friends get home on a Friday night in Sydney’s west.
Joshua Smith, 36, was taking money out of a Mount Druitt ATM to help young family friends before he was allegedly set upon by a group of young people he didn’t know, leading to his death.

Police say the tradesman from Blackett suffered two fatal stab wounds during the attack.
A court heard that Smith was initially approached by the group asking for money.
When he offered them a cigarette instead, a brawl ensued.
Police allege Junior Togatuki, 18, and Isaako Tamoto, 35, chased Smith before punching and kicking him on the ground.

Smith’s friend Jeffery Quee remembered him as an outgoing, family-oriented man.

On Tuesday, police arrested Togatuki in Mulgoa before taking Tamoto into custody in Mount Druitt hours later.
Both have been charged with affray and refused bail.
A 13-year-old boy was charged with murder earlier this week, while a 16-year-old boy was charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
Both teenagers also remain behind bars after being refused bail in a children’s court on Monday.
