Two drug arrests on NSW Central Coast

Two men will face court on drugs charges following a six-month investigation on the NSW Central Coast.

Strike Force Shadowboxer began investigating the supply of prohibited drugs in the Brisbane Water local area in August 2014, police said.

A 53-year-old man was arrested when officers stopped his car on Wednesday and a search warrant later was executed at his home in Davistown.

Police allegedly seized a quantity of cannabis, crystal methyl-amphetamine and two unregistered firearms.

A second search warrant was executed at a home in East Gosford.

A 51-year-old man was arrested nearby and a quantity of cannabis and ecstasy was allegedly found in his possession.

The 53-year-old man was charged with various drugs and firearm offences and was granted bail to appear before Gosford Local Court on March 10.

The 51-year-old man was issued with a court attendance notice on drug possession charges.
