Truck holds key to shooting murder: police

A white truck could hold the key to the death a young man who was gunned down after answering the front door of his Sydney home.

Five months on from Saif Jouda's brutal shooting murder, police have released CCTV footage in the hope that it will spur the public to come forward with fresh information on the killer.

CCTV footage shows a white Isuzu truck parked near the 23-year-old's Horsley Park home when he was shot dead on April 23 in what detectives believe was a targeted attack.

Investigators have not found the owner of the truck, but Detective Inspector Stuart Cadden told reporters that the vehicle could hold the key to Mr Jouda's death.
