Stay alert: message to NSW drivers
AAP
NSW drivers are being urged to make wise decisions on the state's roads during the June long weekend.
Double-demerit points will be in force for four days as NSW Police urge motorists to remain alert over the Queen's Birthday weekend.
From Friday there will be more police on roads targeting drivers for dangerous behaviours, including speeding, drink and drug-driving, mobile phone use and not wearing seatbelts, police said on Thursday.
