Sixth day for NSW school 'hoax' threats

More NSW schools have been evacuated for the sixth consecutive day as police warn about hoax calls from overseas.

Police confirmed on Friday an operation was under way at a number of schools across NSW, including Parramatta.

Parramatta's Arthur Phillip High School was evacuated during the school day on Friday.

It was the school attended by 15-year-old Farhad Jabar, who gunned down police accountant Curtis Cheng last October.

Schools across the nation have received threats in the past week.
