Six men nabbed over fatal Sydney stabbing

Six men are expected to be charged over the murder of a man who was stabbed on a footpath in Sydney's west.

Tu Luong, 35, died in hospital two hours after he was attacked by a group of men armed with a knife and metal bars on Belmore Street, Fairfield East on the afternoon of December 6.

Police say five men, aged between 32 and 38, were arrested on Wednesday morning during search warrants across Sydney's west and southwest. Officers are expected to apply for a 36-year-old man to be extradited from the ACT after he was arrested on a warrant for the offence of murder.
