Six cyclist deaths on NSW roads this year
CYCLIST FATALITIES ON NSW ROADS SINCE JANUARY 2015:
* 01/03: Man, believed to be in his 40s, was fatally struck by a passing motorbike after falling from his bike during the Tour De Hills race, in Sydney's northwest.
* 28/5: Man, believed to be in his 50s, killed in accident with a garbage truck during peak hour traffic in Rose Bay, in Sydney's east.
* 30/10: A 54-year-old man died after suffering serious head injuries following a car collision in the Illawarra region.
* 01/11: Man, 53, died after collapsing while riding the 90km MS Sydney to the Gong charity ride.
* 05/11: A 40-year-old man was hit by a truck after falling off his bike on the Cumberland Highway in Cabramatta, in Sydney's west.
* 09/12: Man, believed to be in his 20s, killed in a car collision on an early morning ride with a Sydney bicycle club, in Maroubra in Sydney's east.
