Shots fired into house and car in Sydney

Five people escaped injury when shots were fired into a house and car at Lake Illawarra in what NSW police believe was a targeted attack.

Five adults were inside the Barrack Heights home when the shots were fired late on Thursday night, and paramedics treated some of them for shock.

Police say they don't believe the shooting was random.
