Shark attack beach in NSW to remain shut
AAP
A NSW beach where a man was bitten by a shark will remain closed.
David Quinlivan, 65, was on a surf ski at Black Head Beach, north of Forster, when the shark attacked on Friday morning, bitting his leg and dragging him off his board.
He paddled back to shore and was taken to Newcastle's John Hunter Hospital for surgery.

A hospital spokeswoman wouldn't comment on his condition on Saturday.
Black Head Beach was closed following the attack and will remain shut until at least Sunday, a Surf Life Saving Australia spokeswoman said.
"It will be assessed again in the morning," she told AAP.
