UPDATE: Missing Blue Mountains woman found safe and well

A missing Blue Mountains woman has been found safe and well.

Margaret Murdoch, 68, was seen driving from her Lawson home yesterday to visit either the local library or Katoomba library.

Her husband reported her missing overnight.

She returned home at around 5:30pm today.

Police earlier found her car parked near Conservation Hut and close to some bushwalking tracks on Falls Road.

Police conducted searches of the bushland near where her car was located but they found no other trace of her.
