Two charged after police officer wedged between two vehicles following pursuit

A police officer has been taken to hospital and two men have been charged following a chase in Sydney's Inner West overnight.
Police were called to a home on Crystal Street in Petersham at about 2am following reports of a home invasion.
When officers arrived and began setting up a perimeter, a white van allegedly hit a male officer before driving away.

Two men – aged 41 and 38 – were arrested at the scene. Nine
The officer was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Police found the white van on Trafalgar Street in Petersham shortly after.
When the driver allegedly failed to stop, a pursuit began, and extra units from Burwood Police, PolAir and the Dog Unit were called to help.

A short time later, police located the white van on Trafalgar Street, Petersham. Nine
The pursuit continued through multiple suburbs in Sydney's Inner West before the vehicle came to a stop at a park on Mitchell Street in Croydon Park.
Two men, aged 41 and 38, were arrested and taken to Burwood Police Station.
They face multiple charges and will appear in court tomorrow.
