Party protest against WestConnex

A large park party has been planned to protest the NSW government's proposed WestConnex toll road.

Seven stages featuring a range of music will be set up in Sydney Park, at Alexandria, which protest groups says will be destroyed along with homes and business to enable the massive road project to be constructed.

"Where we see a park, 'Casino Mike' sees an opportunity to sell us out," Reclaim the Streets spokesman James Loch said, referring to NSW Premier Mike Baird.
