WA man thrown from motorbike, dies

A motorcyclist has died after being thrown from his bike while not wearing a helmet in Perth's north.

The 25-year-old lost control of the bike in Wangara and died in hospital, police say.

The death was one of two on WA roads on Friday night, with a man also killed in a collision between a car and a van in the state's southwest.

The 25-year-old, a passenger in the car, died at the scene near Balingup.

The 23-year-old man behind the wheel was hospitalised with serious injuries while the 18-year-old driver of the van sustained minor injuries.
