Motorcyclist dies in NSW truck collision

A male motorcyclist has died after a collision with a cement truck in western Sydney.

Emergency services were called to the busy Cowpasture Road in Abbotsbury on Friday afternoon following reports of a crash.

The male motorcyclist, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene, while the truck driver has been taken to hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing, police said.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.

Earlier, a young woman died after her car veered off the road, crashed into a tree and burst into flames in the NSW Riverina region.
