NSW parolee accused of rape after release
AAP
The State Parole Board is holding an exceptional meeting after a man released on parole allegedly raped a teenage girl just hours later in a Sydney park.
The 26-year-old faced court this morning accused of the rape and indecent assault of a girl in a reserve at Seven Hills on Monday afternoon.
Corrective Services says the man was released from jail on court-based parole on Monday.

"Where a sentence is less than three years, the court sets the date for automatic release on parole," a spokeswoman said.
The board will meet on Wednesday and is expected to consider revoking the offender's parole.
He did not apply for bail and will remain behind bars until a further court appearance in April.
