NSW man charged with child grooming

A man from the NSW Central Coast has been charged with child grooming offences after a cross-country police sting.

Western Australia police tipped local investigators off about alleged offences last year, sparking an online operation.

The 23-year-old was arrested in his Woy Woy home on Friday where a laptop computer and mobile phone were seized for forensic examination.

The man has been charged with grooming a young person and possessing child abuse material and bailed to appear in court next month.
