NSW man charged over sister's assault

A man has been charged over a domestic dispute where he allegedly attacked his sister with a metal pole and bamboo stick in regional NSW.
A 22-year-old woman from Kandos, near Mudgee, armed herself with a knife to defend against her 29-year-old brother's blows after an argument at her home, police said.
The man suffered a laceration and a hand fracture during the struggle.

He has been charged with two counts of aggravated break, enter and commit indictable offence, common assault and stalking/intimidation.
The man is expected to face Rylstone Local Court next month.
