Four people have been charged with drug and fraud offences following a police raid on a home on the NSW mid north coast.

Police swooped on a house in Taree on Wednesday about 2.30pm as part of an investigation into several fraud offences.

Inside they found drugs including 35 pills, methylamphetamine, cannabis and cash.

A 34-year-old Taree man has been charged with two counts of dishonestly obtaining benefit by deception and goods in custody. He was refused bail and is expected to appear at Taree Local Court on Thursday.

A 32-year-old woman, also from Taree, was also charged with dishonestly obtaining benefit by deception, larceny and goods in custody.

Another Taree man, 41, was charged with possessing ecstasy, along with a 24-year-old Taree woman who was charged for possessing methylamphetamine.

All three were granted bail and are expected to appear before the Taree Local Court on Tuesday, January 5.
